Sponge Bob square pants

Currently watching Sponge Bob square pants the movie! lol, Kids love it, its great to watch an episode I havn't seen 1200 times. N went to a friends birthday party today, I remember having all his friends over for his 5th, those 2 hours seem to last for ages, but we had loads of fun. I played in goal and we had a football shootout which the girls enjoyed as well, since everyone who took part managed to score at least 2 out of 3 past me, hehe, and get a medal for doing so. Musical statues, a dance competition, pass the parcel, all good fun when your 5!

Got a roast in the oven at the moment, should be ready soon, just need to see if we have some yorkshire puds which both boys love. early start tomorrow (05:30) so no partying for me tonite ;)

Watched 51st state on Friday, great film would recommend that if anyone from the US (or just anyone who has not seen it)  is reading you watch it (May need subtitles for the Liverpool accent thou.) then another fav. of mine, Chronicles of Riddick, still havn't worked out if there is a difference between choosing 'fight or 'convert' at the begining of the DVD thou.

Anyhow, time to dish up, catch ya all later.

Cheers

Blogging n stuff

Well I have to say that after uploading basic profiles on Hi5, facebook, live spaces and Myspace, it seems that myspace has me hooked the most. I think it must be the Music element, that being a passion of mine. You do get alot of Music people send friend requests which is great, I don't add them all, just the ones I like. SohoDolls are my faviourate at the moment and I am looking forward to seeing them at Secret Garden Party.

Its late now, and I started to write this about 5hrs ago. Looking forward to a bath now and bed. It's been a busy week, will write somethng more when I get a minute spare.

Hi to all my friends! cya soon!

CHAI

Finally cracked making a good Chai, leave the teabag in the bottom of a cup with a small drop of Soya milk covering the bag. About as much as you would have milk in normal tea. LEave it for 4-5 Min's while you boil the remaining Soya milk. One the milk is piping hot add to Chai and Milk. Leave for another minute or so stirring from time to time. Add 1 tsp of honey and stir in. Remove bag and drink!

Yum!

Sunrise Celebration Festival 2007

So I thought that I should write a Blog about the festi, since I will be posting some more pics soon.

We arrived on the Thursday just after Lunchtime, went with some friends of ours in Sawbridgeworth, Bill and Suz & their 2 little ones. We managed to arrive at the same time, and got our wrist bands from the hut before parking up and waiting for a few hours for a horse and cart to take us to the camp site.  The rain was checking it down, and we thought that we were in for a muddy one.  Bill and I went ahead to get one of the tents up and by the time the girls arrived with the rest of the gear the rain stopped.

Once both tents were up it was off to the main festival area for the opening event. After about 30mins we decided to hit the Bimble Inn (Bar tent) and one of my favourite places ;)

After Scrumpy or 2, we decided to take a look round. Lots of small gardens, sculptures, music, stalls, and such too many to mention in all. The whole site was laid out in the shape of a wagon wheel. The central area where we started hosted the main camp fire, then on each of the spokes were different camps, the horse drawn camp (Where I ended up one night drinking wine with a few of the Gypsies, The tepee tents where someone was making large Bubbles for the kids, the healing area, where you could get a massage and other oriental / alternative healing therapy’s, a kids activity area with trampolines, swing boats, an area for kids to try circus tricks, train rides, workshops for making things, painting, and much more.

There were also many Music stages, FreeDome, IDSpiral (Chillout) which was a favorite of mine, the Dance, Trance, Psy Trance tent and Main stage. I could not manage to tell you all the acts we saw, but will edit and list some later.

There were plenty of food stalls; mostly veggie which was OK, the boys loved the veggie hotdogs! We like the Mexican best, but we also cooked in the tent as well. Sausages n such for breakfast. On the Friday we split up from our friends for a bit and headed to the Bimble Inn again. There G fell asleep on a sheep skin type rug, so we took the opportunity to let him have a rest :P N was busy dancing, playing giant connect 4, dominos and chess.

Saturday we visited some of the stalls, and checked out some of the acts on the main stage.  The evening was dress up time, where we all dressed up as Pirates. Loads of people joined in and we would pass other pirates and well shouting a friendly oow arrr! as we passed. Once night time came, the boys an Sim headed back to the tent, once settled Bill and myself went off to the Dance tent where we continued till 4am!

Sunday was much quieter, the boys had a fun trip on a train, and we had some Chai at IDSpiral. By 4pm we were back at the tent packing up ready to hit the road home.

A great long weekend which we all really enjoyed!

Looking forward to Secret Garden Party in July!
